In the year 2013-14, the State Government had announced for the opening of new medical colleges at 15 places in the state. Proposals on the basis of 60: 40 share will be sent to the Central Government by making a DPR for the remaining places of them, (namely, Alwar, Banswara, Baran, Bundi, Chittorgarh).
