Examination Programme
Rajasthan State Open School holds public examinations two times, during a year i.e. March-May and October-November respectively. Students registred first time in 2018 can appear in the exam of March-May 2019. These students are not required to fill separate examination form. Subjects, in which a student wants to appear, should be clearly filled in the column no. 21 of the entrance application form. Registered students of session 2015-16, 2016-17, 2017-18 and 2018-19 can submit the examination form for the next year public examination for the subjects which they could not pass, as per the details mentioned below;
Examination October-November
21th June to 20th July - without late fee
21th July to 25th July - 50/-Rs. per subject late fee
26th July to 30th July - 500/- Rs. extraordinary late fee
Examination March-May
16th Decmber to 05th January - without late fee
06th January to 10th January - 50/-Rs. per subject late fee
11th January to 15th January - 500/- Rs. extraordinary late fee
Instructions for filling of Examination From
1 Application to the examinations conducted by Rajasthan State Open School during March-May and October-November should be submitted by online application form during the scheduled dates and two copy of which are to be submitted at respective A.I. Centre.
2 Students who wants to apply with extra ordinary late fee also need to apply through online application form and submit the copies of application form at their respective A.I. Centre.
3 For every public examination, students need to apply for exam each time separately and deposit the fee as per the fixed fee at table-4 of Prospectus of RSOS.
4 Examination application form should be submited at the A.I. Centre, selected at the time of admission.
5 During the filling of application form, the student must take care that only those subjects are to be filled in the exam application form, in which he/she intends to appear in the examination. Additional subjects are to be filled in the respective place.
6 For every examination, registration number remains the same as allotted first time during the registration process. Students should be careful while mentioning registration number on the examination form as mentioning wrong registration number will reject their exam application form.
7 Students should mandatorily attach a copy of the marksheet issued by RSOS of the class in which he failed to pass. The internet copy may be accepted.
8 The student should not fill examination form after the expiry of 9 attempts in 5 years of regestration.
Note:
1 Students seeking admission in sr. secondary courses must ensure that two years gap is mandatory between secondary and sr. secondary passing courses. If a student likes to apply for the sr. secondary examination just after passing secondary examination, he is allowed to appear in the next year's examination i.e. April-May or Oct.-Nov. in only four subjects. The fifth or more subjects can be cleared in the next year examination. In other words, there must be a gap of two years between the courses of secondary and sr. secondary classes.
2 Students who unauthorisedly clears both secondary & sr. secondary exams without a gap of two years & succeed to get marksheets and certificates from RSOS, their certificates shall be decleared as unauthentic.
3 The student who passed 10th class in Oct.-Nov., 2018 shall be elegible to appear in all five subjects in sr. secondary examination April-May, 2020.
