From Director's Desk

From the Desk of the Director-
I extend a warm welcome as the Director RSCERT .
Restructuring of RSCERT was immediately followed by the advent of NEP 2020 which brought new roles and responsibilities as the academic authority of the state wherein it is stated that “Academic matters, including academic standards and curricula in the State will be led by the SCERT (with close consultation and collaboration with the NCERT), which will be reinvigorated as an institution. The SCERT will develop a School Quality Assessment and Accreditation Framework (SQAAF) through wide consultations with all stakeholders. The SCERT will also lead a “change management process” for the reinvigoration of CRCs, BRCs, and DIETs which must change the capacity and work culture of these institutions in 3 years, developing them into vibrant institutions of excellence.”
The faculty of RSCERT is working diligently for the implementation of the above policy recommendations and timely completion of the allotted tasks in the implementation process.
Along with the new responsibilities, RSCERT will continue to work for the enhancement of human and material resources in school education, including in-service training of teachers and administrators of the school education , framing of syllabus, text book development programme , the design of training modules and futuristic educational research. All the efforts will be backed up by extensive use of technology in the education system.
Keeping in view the general advent of digital technology in our lives, access can also be determined by how education reaches the child and not just the other way round. RSCERT has taken several initiatives to reach out to students and teachers in the state in dire times such as during COVID to ensure continuity of learning and keep in contact with students.
Keeping pace with the ever increasing expectations of the society and the nation, along with the world as a global village, we endeavour to make our teachers and our students, individuals with dignity who are enthused with a genuine concern for the society, culture, nation and at large with humanity itself.
With warm regards,
Kavita Pathak, RAS
Director RSCERT
